Acrostic Poem

Good Morning, 🙂
Today im going to write a poems but i still wondering ‘how’ to make it. Last night i read my friends poem in Bahasa and he used acrostic poem. You can checking here:

Seikat Rindu | Putra Zaman |

And i have another example poems in English.
Here is an acrostic poem from Lewis Carroll’s THROUGH THE LOOKING-GLASS,
which was dedicated to Alice Pleasance Liddell.

If you read the lines from top to bottom, you’ll see that the first letters spell out Alice’s complete name.

A boat beneath a sunny sky,
Lingering onward dreamily
In an evening of July–

Children three that nestle near,
Eager eye and willing ear,
Pleased a simple tale to hear–

Long has paled that sunny sky:
Echoes fade and memories die.
Autumn frosts have slain July.

Still she haunts me, phantomwise,
Alice moving under skies
Never seen by waking eyes.

Children yet, the tale to hear,
Eager eye and willing ear,
Lovingly shall nestle near.

In a Wonderland they lie,
Dreaming as the days go by,
Dreaming as the summers die:
Ever drifting down the stream–
Lingering in the golden gleam–
Life, what is it but a dream?

– Lewis Carroll

So i got the point about acrostic poem. And i will making an acrostic poem also, someday .
How about you? 🙂

saya menulis karena saya merasa bahwa ada banyak hal yang tidak dapat di ungkapkan melaui kata-kata, tapi sebuah tulian mampu menjabarkannya. Maka, saya menuliskannya di sini.
